The University of Nottingham Polo Club is a growing club that aims to introduce new players to the fast-paced, adrenaline-filled sport that is polo.

 

You don't need to have ridden before, all you need is energy and a GO attitude. It is an opportunity to take part in a sport which you may have may never even considered before!

 

We enter teams into tournaments throughout the year; the National University Polo Tournaments are played indoor in the winter and outdoor in the summer. These events along with the smaller ones are a great opportunity to meet like-minded polo-playing universities from all over the country.

 

We are a relaxed, friendly club, based around our love for all things equine. There are opportunities for just having a go, casual games, or more competitive levels of play thanks to our links with our home club, Rugby Polo Club.

 

Lessons are arranged on a weekly basis at a cost of £37.50, usually on a Wednesday afternoon. There are regular socials, ranging from traditional AU nights to movie nights, along with trips to various equestiran sporting events.
